Jimmy
Jimmy is a comedian risking it all to start his own late-night talk show in New York City. But in order to make it, he'll need to navigate the fast-paced, drama-filled late-night offices at 7th Floor West. He'll have to decide what color tie to wear, which printer to use, and who on his staff he can trust. Most of all, he'll have to walk up and down the hallways and stare at people for prolonged periods of time. Can Jimmy overcome his fears and discover who are his BFFs, and who are his frenemies? Only time will tell.
-
Miles
Don't hate Miles because he's beautiful. The head writer for the show, Miles always dreamed of going into fashion. Maybe his heart's just not in the writing game... and maybe that's why he spends so much time causing trouble. Miles will do whatever it takes to get what he wants-even if it means stabbing a frenemy in the back. Will his red-tie sensibility clash with Jimmy's blue-tie vibe? Time will tell, but one thing's for certain: there will definitely be drama along the way.
-
Lauren
Lauren is Jimmy's assistant. No, wait... Lauren is Jimmy's *former* assistant. She is unable to express human emotion of any kind.
-
Jenny
Jenny charmed her way to the top of the NBC page program by waitressing for high-profile clients in the NBC commissary. Her sweetness and luminous pleasantness have earned her a spot as Jimmy's new assistant. She seems almost too good to be true... and maybe she is.
-
Tariq
Tariq is the MC of The Roots. He loves pizza and music, and isn't afraid to tell Jimmy what he thinks. One thing's for sure: he will *not* be getting his anchovy on anytime soon.
-
Ahmir
Also known as ?uestlove, Ahmir is the drummer for The Roots. He loves stapling things together. He hates drama.
-
Higgins
Steve is Jimmy's announcer, right-hand man, and all-around bro. Jimmy often turns to him for guidance, and though he's not always the best counselor, Higgins always means well. He may or may not have a pizza addiction.
