We here at Late Night love to joke around but sometimes things need to get serious (stop smiling). Recently Jimmy talked to Ashton Kutcher on Larry King Live! about the global threat of malaria and wanted to help spread the word about World Malaria Day coming up this Saturday. I decided to jump in to help the cause as well, so I set up a mosquito net over my desk at the LNWJF offices to educate those around me about World Malaria Day and to ward off mosquitoes that may be in our building.

Let me tell you, I felt like I'm was in my own personal internet in-ter-NET fortress. No one and nothing could touch me, yet I could interact with the world around me, in a safe manner. Also, people stopped putting useless things on my desk. The net deters things. I got tons of use out of it. Check it and see:

I made some personal calls from my fortress of safety:

And generally had my spirits boosted:

I eventually realized I was in my own country:

This was great fun. And I'm still in the net now. Not kidding. For more information on World Malaria Day (this Saturday, April 25th) visit www.malarianomore.org.
