Tonight Mary Steenburgen will be on the show talking with Jimmy about her new film, Did You Hear About The Morgans? Steenburgen began acting in New York City in 1972 and was discovered by Jack Nicholson in the reception room of Paramount's New York office. She went on to star such films as Back To The Future, Parenthood, The Butchers Wife, Step Brothers, Philadelphia, and Elf. What good movies, right!? She has also appeared in TV roles on Law and Order: Special Victims Unit, Back To The Future: The Animated Series, and Curb Your Enthusiasm (alongside her husband Ted Danson).
Other than being an Oscar winning actress, Steenburgen is also a business owner and philanthropist. Recently she launched a line of candles with her daughter Lilly with the company Nell's Compass. The candle scents are inspired by Steenburgen's travels around the world as an actor. And best of all, each candle supports Heifer International, a wonderful charity that focuses on ending world hunger in poorer countries.
