Kirin is releasing a new beverage in Japan called Cola Shock. It's alcohol + cola. Pretty simple and perhaps brilliant. The commercial, however, is really odd. A Japanese waitress is in a restaurant filled with rowdy Americans (or, at the very least, English-speakers). People yell out what they want - "Pizza!" "Burger!" (Because that's totally how everyone orders food in our part of the world.) But most of all, EVERYONE wants Cola Shock. Because without Cola Shock, it's not a party. The most terrifying part of this commercial definitely has to be the guy who raises his hand in an all too vaguely familiar hand gesture and screams "Special Shock!" SOOOO CREEPY!
But probably also really delicious.
