One of Late Night's graphics people, Edmond Hawkins, is a huge Pee-wee Herman fan. When he heard that Pee-wee himself was going to be a guest on Late Night he pitched the idea of having Jimmy reenact the Large Marge scene from Pee-wee's Big Adventure with Pee-wee. To Edmond's delight the idea was approved and he was assigned to make the animation of the face happen. A real dream come true! The only problem was, he had less than 24 hours to do it.
Luckily we caught up with Edmond as his work was getting underway to get an insider quick glimpse behind-the-scenes look at how he was going to make it all happen. Take a look!
