Even more mustaches are appearing in pop culture and now they're getting younger and hipper! The lovable Jason Schwartzman (Rushmore, Bored to Death) has hit the town lately with what can only be described as an amazing mustache. At first I thought he definitely grew it for an upcoming film role but upon further investigation he said he grew it for his wife Brady Cunningham. "She never tells me what to wear, I put on whatever I feel like. But I did grow this mustache for my wife, she likes it," he said. "You want to feel it?" Thanks for growing it Jason, and thanks for wanting him to grow it Brady. Welcome to Mustache Alerts!

There's more good news for the mustache in mainstream pop culture! Bradley Whitford, who you know from Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip, The West Wing, Billy Madison, and more is wearing himself a fabulous mustache which he's featuring under his nose in his new television series The Good Guys. We may have lost Jason Lee's groundbreaking mustache from My Name is Earl but the mainstream prime time television mustache is back! Really great mustache Bradley. It has a nice tone to it. There's been a few mustaches making their way into the news/web lately that I've been wanting to alert you about today. Rumor has it that Tim Dekay will be sporting some sort of amazing mustache in the upcoming second season of White Collar (pictures and an alert coming soon!), Perez Hilton posted a sweet photobomb of 007 Daniel Craig and his respectful mustache in the background of a Taylor Swift picture. It's not so much an alert though, because he's had his mustache for many months now but it's nice to see that it's still there. What got me most excited in the "world of mustache" was seeing Spencer Pratt last night. He looked glorious! Now I know he's sporting what some would call a "beard" but his new mustache sweeps up at the ends and is somewhat separate from the beard portion. Anyway, what is going on here? It's amazing!

There's a brand new solid mustache on the scene that's been getting some attention in the last week or so. I first saw this mustache on the season finale of Real Time with Bill Maher. It's a beautiful mustache and it is attached to none other than legendary film director Oliver Stone (Platoon, JFK, The Doors, Wall Street). I have to say, it fits him well. To me, it looks like he's had it all along, like one of those mustache "lifers" that your friend's dad has. Great mustache Oliver. Keep it up, and welcome to Mustache Alerts!
