This new Wii game looks amazing. it's called Wiiwaa. You place the Wii remote inside this little stuffed animal guy, and then you move him around. Shake him. Bounce him. I know that doesn't make sense, so please do yourself a favor and watch the demo. It looks so AWESOME. (Yes, I know. I'm a grown woman. What.)
ATTENTION ALL GAMERS! Video game designer Tim Schafer joined us on the show tonight to talk about his hotly anticipated game Brütal Legend. He also shows a sneak peek of the game during the interview:
This is a live, extremely creative performance from Seattle's Marrowstone in the City program. The music was arranged by Lennart Jansson and Ash Ketchum.
Order of performance: The Legend of Zelda, Pokemon, Halo, Tetris, Kirby, Pong, Super Mario Bros., Super Mario World
As you may have heard, Jimmy beat Tiger Woods at his own game earlier today in Times Square. The two squared off in a round of Tiger's new video game, Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10. Was it beginner's luck? To find out, the two agreed to a rematch on tonight's show. Here's what happened, trash-talking included:
Have you seen the preview for Project Natal? It's the new Xbox game system that offers controller-free gaming and entertainment. CONTROLLER-FREE. No controllers. No nunchucks. Just your body, and the game. Finally, you can become ONE with the game.
I have to be honest, when my fellow bloggers first showed this to me, I screamed at the computer "NO. This canNOT be real. It's fake. Just like the man walking on the moon." And then I realized I am 100 years old. Because Project Natal is real. So real in fact, the game's creative director, Microsoft's Kudo Tsunoda, will be a guest on the show on Wednesday!!! Be sure to tune in...HE WILL BE GIVING US A LIVE DEMO!! Then it will be for real for real for real!
As nostalgic as I am for the original Mike Tyson's Punch-Out, I am really looking forward to playing it on the Wii! Except...this time around, there's no Mike Tyson. For obvious reasons. But there's still King Hippo, which is really all that matters to me.
Check out the trailer. Cool animation, updated theme song, and lots of fun.
I'm not sure how many Grey's Anatomy fans there are reading this blog, but I am one (despite how insane this season has become). So imagine my utter delight and amazement when I came across the piece of news that Grey's is releasing a video game for the Wii (and Nintendo DS). IGN describes the game, saying "players interact with the well-known faces from the TV series as they move from critical medical operations to life-affirming romantic entanglements." In other words: this will be the BEST GAME EVER! You actually get to make various doctors hook up with each other in the hospital and do surgeries. So many questions!!! Do you get to diffuse a bomb stuck inside someone's body? Do you have to kill the ghost of Denny using a Castlevania-style chain whip? Do you have to tell Izzy to calm the eff down? I cannot WAIT to find out. Once we* get the game and have several straight days of play, we will give you a full review here.
Watch the trailer for the game, after the jump.
*We = just me. Because let's be honest, do you really think Cory and Jon are going to play this with me?
