As you may have noticed, on tonight's show, Jimmy mentioned that we're having a full-on yacht rock party Monday, in celebration of the fact that THE Christopher Cross will be performing on the show that night. If you're not familiar with this concept, yacht rock is the popular soft rock that peaked between the years of 1975 and 1984 (but will eternally play on a summer breeze blowing through the jasmine in my mind). This genre has been made famous again by the hilarious web series Yacht Rock, which got its rise a few years ago at the popular L.A.-based video show called Channel 101.
