During the rehearsal for the best Christmas performance ever, there was a fair amount of down-time while our crew adjusted cameras and lighting. It was glorious to watch Kermit, Miss Piggy, Animal, and all the other Muppets interact with Jimmy - in character - even when we weren't on air. At one particular moment, Jimmy randomly broke into the song made famous by Three Dog Night, "One." Pretty soon, his felty friends joined in, followed by The Roots. Luckily for you, our cameras happened to be rolling, and we were able to capture for you this completely spontaneous and adorable moment:
The only thing missing from this is Zoot with a haunting sax solo and a "deeeep, man" from Janice.
