A little backstory about “Land of Hope and Dreams” - it was first performed during the E Street Band’s 1999 reunion tour, and a live version was released on 2001’s Live in New York City. But the version featured here is the first studio recording of the song, and it features one of the last recorded performances by E Street Band saxophonist Clarence Clemons, who died in June 2011.
